We are used to perceiving the Amazon solely as a political emergency or a media catastrophe. In this canvas — my most imposing work at the start of 2026 — I chose to shift the focus: not toward the ashes, but toward the life that resists with stubbornness.
The work is a synthesis of my personal history. Through a process of pictorial citation, I have brought back to life fragments of flora and fauna that have inhabited my canvases over the past years. These are not material inserts, but an oil re-interpretation of previous memories, integrated into a new, vibrant ecosystem.
Measuring 200×100 cm, this painting is designed to transform the space it occupies, restoring that sensation of pure energy one feels when immersed in the deep green—where light is not just an aesthetic detail, but an act of defense for territory and identity.
An invitation to protect beauty, reminding us that to save a land, we must first return to loving it.
