Description
This painting is a tribute to Roncinante, the companion of Don Quixote de la Mancha. This animal has become the symbol of all equines that have accompanied the human being for over 2000 years, allowing him to reach previously unknown territories.
Magaly has interpreted the famous animal in a modern version, with oil and acrylic colours, so diluted that it looks like watercolour, to infuse a sense of transparency and lightness, making it almost evanescent.
