Tempi Nostri

This painting tells his story by its own… a dancer turns her back on us in a liberating dance. With an elegant gesture he pulls up a mask, an integral part of the outfit of the latest times. Times of a virus that has, paradoxically, unmasked many shortcomings of government systems, institutions and also of human beings who appear to be more selfish and indifferent towards others and the environment which continues to be martyrized.

There is so much color because I want to believe in change for my daughters. In fact, I dedicate this painting to them, girls full of uncertainties but always fighters and ready for the future…Hoping for better times.

I paint colors because times are too dark to weight them down more with darkness in paintings as well…
